Short Game 401: Wedge Wizardry - Shaping Short Shots
Not all wedges are created equal, neither are the shots they make. Mechanical differences in loft, length and bounce are different from club to club. The ability to vary wrist hinge and path to alter spin can create entirely differently shaped shots – even with the same club. Understanding what wedge to use and how to use it can help a player get the ball close to the pin when approaching -and keep it there. Participants will experiment with loft and spin, and will learn the various finesse and technique required to be an advanced player. Shots such as the lob, cut lob, check and other specialty shots will be covered in this course.
**Pre-requisite: Prior participation in the lower level courses of the Short Game series is strongly encouraged as a pre-requisite for this course.
